Form of work The Royal Motor Yacht Club in Point Piper is a prestigious members only Club. Founded in 1905, featuring fine-dining restaurant, cafe, bar, function rooms, swimming pool, gym and marina with 89 berths and 18 swing moorings.
We have a very special opportunity for the right person to join our management team.
About the role
You will be required to:
Coordinate and manage the front of house staff and lead a professional team to deliver high quality service to members and guests.
Have strong verbal communication skills.
Have familiarity with POS systems.
Be pro-active and take personal responsibility and initiative for any tasks performed.
Be familiar with club facilities and services.
What we are looking for
This is a high-profile front-line position and with that in mind the successful applicant will need to demonstrate:
A genuine passion for people and hospitality.
Have proven work experience in a restaurant or cafe management role
Excellent standard of personal presentation and communication
A warm and friendly phone manner.
The ability to work autonomously and manage a team.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
This is a full time position working from Wednesday to Sunday including evening hours.
