Cake Decorator | Casual Role | Experience Necessary

Emma Townsend Cakes opened in Rozelle last year and I'm looking for an experienced Cake Decorator to support me in the busy periods.

Right now I'm looking for 1 or 2 days to support myself and my other Cake Decorator and going into the school holidays up to 4 days per week depending on demand.

I’m a professional cake designer for over 13 years and I turned my home business into a successful cake studio in Rozelle just last year and I'm looking to grow

About You

EXPERIENCE IS A MUST! You will need to share with me examples of your work

NO SPONSOR: This is casual position for an experienced Cake Decorator/baker

I’m now looking for help to grow this business with someone who is creative, great with customers and can get straight into the decorating jobs and baking. You will need proven experience. It doesn't have to be in a professional setting but you will need to send me examples of your work and you need to work fast!

Day to day

·       Work hours 7am-1pm. Tuesday-Friday. (1-2 days at the start, casual)

·       School holidays and lead up to Christmas will be very busy periods

·       Baking cakes, cookies and other goods

·       Decorating cakes in fondant, buttercream and ganache

·       General cleaning duties

Qualifications & experience

• 2 years Baking and / or cake decorating skills, eg: working with fondant, figurine
• Customer service and communication skills
• Passion for food, baking and creative stuff
• Creative in cakes and even on socials when we post pics of our amazing work
