Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes and customer orders.
• Decorate cakes and pastries with precision and creativity, using various techniques such as icing, piping, and fondant modelling.
• Ensure high standards of quality, presentation, and taste in all pastry and Cake products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the pastry kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stock rotation of pastry ingredients and supplies.
   

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or Cake Decorator in a professional kitchen or bakery setting.
• Proficiency in pastry and Cake decoration techniques, including piping, fondant work, and sugar crafting.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity in designing and decorating cakes and pastries.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, including day and night shifts.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Food safety and hygiene certification is preferred.
