- Incumbents to be appointed on 6 month or yearly contracts
Duration of the training program in CALHN: 12 months from 3/2/25 up to 1/2/26
Term of the Contract: 3 Years in line with clause 52 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement
At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3 year contract.
About the role
Contributes to the provision of an Endocrine and Metabolic Service across CALHN sites, within the objectives and philosophies of the Central Adelaide Local Health Network and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), with a commitment to inpatient, ambulatory care, research, education and teaching.
This position would particularly suit Advanced Trainees in General Medicine requiring Endocrinology experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration
- Pass in FRACP part I (written and clinical) examination
