Call Centre Consultant - 6 Month Contract

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client a leading, global brand within the insurance and financial services industry based in Melbourne has an opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Consultant on a 6-month contract basis. Join a supportive and collaborative business with a great team culture.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Handling inbound calls from customers
• Developing a thorough understanding of relevant legislations and guidelines and ensuring compliance with them at all times
• Liaising and negotiating with customers to assist them in their claims
• Accurately and efficiently entering information into the database

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience in a contact centre environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Intermediate MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to prioritise multiple workloads and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Initially, this role will be 100% office based, once trained you will move to a hybrid model.
