The Position:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to take on the position as a Casual Customer Service/Call Centre Officer. This role will be based at our National Head Office in Altona North.
This role is the first point of contact for both internal and external customers, and you will liaise between staff, customers, dealers, and subcontractors to ensure that our customers receive timely and cost-effective service.
What you will do:
- Take inbound calls from our internal and external customers and answer inquiries efficiently
- Develop and maintain excellent customer service relationships
- Ensure prompt and effective follow up and response to customers enquiries
- Resolve problems by clarifying issues, research for alternative solutions, and escalate unresolved problems
- Enter orders and daily releases into the System
- Maintain Call Centre database by entering information
- Keep systems operational by following established procedures; reporting malfunctions
What you will bring:
- Previous Customer Service experience (Call Centre, Transport and Logistics, Dealership will be highly regarded)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Data entry skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solver
Nice to have:
- Experience using transport related systems will be highly regarded but not necessary - full training will be provided
