Position: Customer Service Officer/ Call Centre Operator

Join our dynamic team at Ballarat Community Health, where we are dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services to our community. We're currently seeking a motivated Contact Centre Operator to join our team and contribute towards creating healthy communities through the provision of accessible, affordable and quality health and wellbeing services.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls from clients, community members, and healthcare professionals promptly and professionally.
- Provide accurate information regarding services, appointment scheduling, and general inquiries.
- Assist clients with appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling as needed.
- Direct calls to appropriate departments or healthcare providers efficiently.
- Document and maintain accurate records of all interactions in the client database.
- Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure quality Customer Service and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with staff to address clients needs and concerns effectively.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous experience in Customer Service role preferred.
- Empathetic and client-centered approach to customer interactions.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare services is desirable though not essential.
- Proficiency in using computer systems software.
