About the role:
The primary function of the Campaigns and Reporting Officer is to fully support the Dealer Network with access to Technical Information, via a range of mediums and platforms.
These include producing and releasing technical bulletins / campaigns using Microsoft Word, capturing images using video recording equipment and digital cameras, editing content using Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro etc, maintenance of the internal online portal ensuring all information is accurate and current, creating and editing PDF documents, reviewing technical information supplied from Head Office and 3rd party suppliers.
In additional to the above, a pivotal part of this role includes detailed and complex technical investigations, searching internal data bases and extracting vehicle information to compile detailed reports back to HO for analysis.
Key responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
- Reporting technical concerns to Head Office (HO) within outlines of set company KPIs
- Liaise with HO and work within HO operating systems to manage ongoing technical reports
- Update and manage all Technical Information released to internal portals
- Work with internal customer support and state office teams to ensure technical information is released ASAP.
- Produce internal technical bulletins where applicable
- Review and publish technical repair documentation, Owner Manuals, Workshop Manuals, Fitting instructions etc
- Produce and manage service Campaigns and recall campaigns
- Produce and edit “How to videos” to support technical bulletins / repairs
- Provide adhoc technical assistance and vehicle evaluations for internal GWM Departments when requested by Management
- Utilisation of all tools including, new model releases, product training via Learning Management System (LMS)
- Other relevant tasks and duties as requested by management
- 100% compliance to company and health & safety policies and procedures
- Support the organisation with a 'Can Do' mindset understanding we are rapidly expanding in market
Skills and Experience Required:
• Sound knowledge of the automotive industry - Essential Minimum of 5 years
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word - Essential
• Understanding of dealership service operations – Essential
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills - Essential
• Technical qualification in Automotive – Essential
• Previous experience in managing recalls and campaigns is preferred but not essential
