SalaryHunter canteen services are looking for a friendly, trustworthy, hardworking and well spoken person to join our team as a Canteen Manager. Position will commence immediately.
This is a part time position working Monday to Friday 8am - 2:15pm during the school term.
Your role as a manager will include stock-take, stock rotation, food prep and cooking, order taking, over the counter sales as well as online, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, assisting other team members and ensuring compliance with NSW healthy school canteen strategy.
Managers also have a responsibility to bank all cash sales on a set day each week.
Position criteria
must have a paid WWCC
Previous experience is preferred but not essential as all training will be given
Willingness to learn and a positive attitude as well as the ability to work with families, students and school staff is essential
Excellent communication, cash handling, time management and organisation skills
Food safety supervisor certificate is essential from 8th December 2024 but prefer you to complete immediately
