JOB PURPOSE:
The Asset Finance Broker is responsible for identifying and securing financing solutions for clients looking to acquire assets ranging from equipment and machinery to vehicles. The role requires a combination of financial acumen, sales skills, and a thorough understanding of the Asset Finance market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their financial requirements and provide expert advice on suitable financing options.
- Financial Solutions: Develop tailored financial solutions to meet client needs, including lease, hire purchase, chattel mortgage, and rental agreements.
- Market Analysis: Keep abreast of market trends and changes in finance products to offer up-to-date advice and services.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and financial institutions to facilitate smooth finance operations.
- Documentation: Prepare and process all necessary documentation required for finance applications and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Sales Targets: Achieve sales targets as set by the organisation and contribute to the team’s performance.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct financial analysis to assess the risk profile of clients and make informed decisions on finance applications.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities are conducted in line with industry regulations and ethical standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking (desired) - Support to complete this certification is also provided.
- Experience: Proven experience in finance broking, banking, sales, or a related financial services role.
SKILLS:
- Strong understanding of financial products and markets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of numeracy and analytical ability.
- Ability to negotiate and influence both clients and financial institutions.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Office-based throughout three Melbourne locations (St Kilda, Moorabbin & Essendon Fields)
