Caravan Workshop Technician Experienced Or Junior Position

Lawrence RV is has opened their brand new RV workshop in Burpengary that will cater for all Insurance, Service and aftermarket needs for Caravans, Campers and Motorhomes. Given the success we are on the look out for a highly motived Caravan Workshop Technician. 

You would also be joining a team that team that are experienced in the RV industry and can offer on the spot training. 

Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving will be paramount to your success. You will become a technician in what will be a great workshop department where you will be offered many growth opportunities all while ensuring that an exceptional level of customer service is maintained at all levels. Role Responsibilities

• Carry out a full range of servicing and repairs to all Caravans brought in for service, warranty, aftermarket and insurance repairs.
• Pre-Delivery Inspections
• Carry out general dealership tasks and duties as required.
• Minor and major  servicing

Mandatory Requirements

• Interest in the Camping & Caravanning Lifestyle
• Highly proficient in caravan servicing.
• Competent with hand tools and power tools
• Resilient communication skills - on the phone and in person
• Sound oral and written skills with quick and accurate math
• A current unrestricted drivers’ license

Desirable

• Experience working in a multi-faceted, fast-paced workshop environment
• A passion to work within and contribute to the leisure industry
• Paint, Fiberglass, Gas/Plumbing, 240V Electrical trade qualifications
• Experience in Welding
• Appropriate knowledge of LPG gas plumbing, 240-volt electrical, cabinetry work, aluminum cladding, and fitment of caravan industry related accessories.
• Comprehensive understanding of 12-volt electrical wiring & trailer/caravan mechanics

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Friday so you can plan to get away early on those weekends away.

Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4pm 

Friday 7:30am - 2pm
