The Role:
Reporting to Keith McCarthy, Acting Manager Treatment Plant Operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring our Treatment Plants operate safely, reliably, and efficiently. Your focus will be on overseeing and improving critical team processes including resource management, maintenance, spare parts management, and hazard rectification, ensuring our Treatment Plants meet stringent performance standards to protect our natural environment.

You'll join our Distribution Services Group, a dynamic team dedicated to consistently providing essential water and sanitation services through effective asset management, strong partnerships, and responsive customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operational resourcing and after-hours duty rosters
- Develop and optimise processes for recommended maintenance follow-ups and management of critical spare parts
- Enhance key partner performance and communication
- Manage customer impacts from operational matters
- Support regulatory compliance and ensure safety across all operations
- Foster a team culture of continuous improvement and innovation
About You:
We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative, inclusive, and motivated team environment, with a strong desire to learn and enhance existing skills. You should possess:
- Advanced organisational skills and a knack for continuous improvement.
- Ability to establish strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Have a sound understanding of how to apply risk in decision making processes
- Past experience in a busy operational environment or utility background preferred but not essential
