An exciting opportunity exists at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) Cardiology for Permanent Full Time or Part Time Grade 2 Cardiac Physiologist positions. The successful applicant(s) will have experience in the Echo and/or EPS Laboratory and must also have either completed (or attained equivalent competencies) an accredited ultrasound course and/or an electrophysiological course. The role(s) provide an integral service to provide safe and effective healthcare delivery to patients in fast paced and dynamic environment.

Where you'll be working
Royal North Shore Hospital, Acute Services Building, Cardiology DEPT.
The DEPT comprises of a multidisciplinary team of Cardiologists, Fellows, Advanced Trainees, Nurses, Radiographers, Administration Officers and Health Support Staff in addition to a large group of Cardiac Physiologists working across the spectrum of invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures.
What you'll be doing
Depends on the successful candidate(s) qualifications and working background but will be primarily in either Echocardiography or Electrophysiological Study. Cath Lab duties are expected, and training is provided with the expectation that successful candidate(s) will also participate in the 24/7 infarct on call service. Other diagnostic areas that may be required include Stress testing, Holter monitoring, tilt table testing and cardiac devices.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Hold a bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) and holds a Post Graduate Degree in Sonography or qualifications or competencies deemed equivalent by the employer and performs Cardiac Sonography or Electrophysiological Studies (EPS).
- Are you independent in identifying and interpreting 12-Lead ECGs, normal and abnormal, and analysing rhythms?
- Do you have relevant experience in ECGs, Holter Monitors, Stress testing and Tilt Table testing?
- Do you have relevant experience in Cardiac Catheterisation, Cardiac Devices, Echocardiography and Electrophysiological Study?
