Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and personnel matters, ensuring adherence to budget, accreditation standards, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Provide individualized patient care, supervise support staff, and uphold infection control measures during medication rounds.
- Lead the clinical care and service delivery within the home, collaborating with internal and external support for optimal resident outcomes.
- Promote a resident-centered culture emphasizing compassion and dignity, addressing concerns promptly, and upholding rights and responsibilities.
- Offer clinical leadership, supervision, and education to nursing and care staff, fostering professional development and continuous improvement in resident care.
- Ensure accreditation standards are met, supervise health professionals, and facilitate effective handovers across all shifts.
- Manage clinical stock levels, monitor audit results, and maintain medication management and infection prevention control in line with best practices.
- Provide direction for resident incident management, ensuring timely notification of incidents and injuries, and supporting crisis management, including outbreak/Covid-19 response.
- Adhere to the master roster and support human resource management activities, including recruitment, selection, rostering, staff development, and performance management.

Qualifications:
- Current full AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with no conditions/restrictions
- Previous experience in Aged Care as a Care Manager or Facility Manager is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of elderly individuals.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
