Role Description:
A Support Worker is responsible for providing services and support to daily living of residents to optimise their independence, health, well-being and quality of life.
Duties include:
- Assistance with personal care
- Domestic duties
- Assisting with participation in day-to-day leisure activities
About You:
- Must have a passion for helping other people
- Willingness to work under Work Health and Safety guidelines
- Have a professional attitude
- Warm, caring, and approachable outlook in delivering person-centered care
- A commitment to learning and development
- Willing to undertake formal qualifications - Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) CHC33021
Candidate Requirements:
- Must be Australian or New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Resident or qualify under a Visa that allows you to both work and study in Australia.
- Current NDIS check
- Current Police Check or willingness to obtain
- Must be willing to undertake and work towards completing training in the relevant formal qualification - Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) CHC33021
