Our Homes:
We have two homes situated within the peaceful and scenic Southern Highlands. Stretching from Bundanoon to Goulburn, our homes are each unique in their own special way but filled with laughter and opportunity. Our homes are pet friendly and each offer spaces for individual relaxation or social interaction and flexible outdoor settings for gatherings.
Your Role:
In consultation with Team Leaders or the Registered Nurse in charge, you will provide all care services that ensures their physical, emotional and social wellbeing. You will engage with our residents, their families and your team, contributing to the high quality care services that we provide and building positive relationships essentially creating what we believe is a crucial component in supporting a ‘Great Life’ for an older person.
Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times and general mobility
Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
Active involvement in community based recreational and social activities
Ensuring their happiness by supporting their emotional wellbeing
Joining in the fun Cultural celebration days

Hourly Rate: $28.39 - $29.52 depending on experience + Super + Casual Loading & Penalites
Onboarding:
If your application is successful, you will be required to commence employment to our three day On-boarding Program. Our training is hosted by our internal clinical educators and will cover all things Warrigal. The essential skills that we cover will set you up for success that ensure our customers have the highest quality care. Our On-boarding is held weekly.
Who we're looking for:
You’ll have a Certificate III in Aged Care (or similar)
You’ll be empathetic and commitment to the care of older people with a demonstrated commitment to meeting their needs
You’ll have availability to work night shifts
You'll have knowledge of all relevant legislation affecting the operation of Aged care Services
You'll be resourceful, respectful, passionate and have a willingness to share knowledge and experiences within your team
Someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills
You will have the availability to attend our 3 day onboarding program
Successful candidates may be required to undergo pre-employment checks including reference checks, pre-employment medical and a National Criminal History Check/NDIS Worker Screening Check.
