About the position
We are seeking casual staff to work in our Case Work Support Service, supporting children and young people by:
- supervising family time and contact visits
- transporting children and young people
- mentoring young people
Our aim is to help you grow your career. We provide you with diverse experience across our services and enough work hours to meet your needs, along with training, professional supervision and the opportunity to develop skills for permanent positions in a growing Agency.
Work can be scheduled across 7 days, ideally you will be available to work weekdays and weekends.
These positions involve working with children and young people, so you will need to have a Working with Children Check, be prepared to undertake a National Criminal Check and have relevant qualifications (Cert IV, Diploma or Degree).
How to apply

- Certificate IV or Diploma or higher qualification in Youth Work, Community Services, Criminal Justice or similar human services field
- Demonstrated ability to use sound professional judgment and apply initiative within organisational policy and procedures
- High level of written, verbal and computer-based communication skills, including the use of databases and Microsoft Office programs
- Demonstrated ability to engage and work with children, young people, their families and carers
- Demonstrated understanding of trauma-informed care and the challenges faced by children and young people who have experienced significant trauma
- A current unrestricted driver’s licence, Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate are pre-requisites for this role.
