We are looking for Experienced Care Workers who are passionate about providing quality care to our customers, and we currently have opportunities for Part Time, Full Time and Casual Care Workers to join our team.
The role of a Care Worker with BCD Community Care Inc is to engage with our customers so they may live as independently as possible. Each service we provide may include a combination of domestic assistance, personal care, social support and community access.

You are a passionate and dedicated individual who is looking to make a difference in the community. You are warm, friendly and respectful and pride yourself on customer service, while ensuring customers acheive their goals.
You have:
- Experience working with people living with a disability and/or the elderly
- The ability to follow procedures and ensure the customer's personal preferences are adhered to
- Excellent communication skills and can maintain professional boundaries with customers and their families
- Time management skills ensuring you can work within designated timeframes
- Adaptability for unexpected changes due to customer and rostering requirements
- An open and enthusiastic manner with a commitment to working with people living with disabilities
- A demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and individually
- Availability to work days, nights and weekends
Essential Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum Cert III in Disability, Cert III in Aged Care, Cert III Individual Support
- Minimum 12 months experience within this sector
- Your own fully comprehensively insured reliable vehicle
- A valid NSW Driver's Licence (P's accepted)
- An NDIS Worker Screen Number
- A current Working With Children Check for Employment
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Medicare Immunisation Certificate showing Covid Vaccinations
- Certificate for NDIS Worker Orientation Module and NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module
- Must be authorised to work in Australia
