About the Role
Our Career Medical Officer is responsible for managing the acute clinical care of patients and assisting in the provision of an efficient, safe and professional medical service to all patients in the Hospital under the direction of Specialists/Visiting Medical Officers (VMO's). This position will work across all areas of the hospital and provide support to Visiting Medical Officers in the provision of inpatient care.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate a strong clinical skillset with the ability to manage a broad spectrum of patients across our facility including medical, surgical and maternity. You will also have exceptional communication skills and demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
You will also bring:
- Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum 3 years Australian clinical experience
- Hold appropriate Visa/Residency status to work in Australia
- Current resuscitation skills including BLS, ALS, PALS and airway support skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
