About the Role

We are seeking skilled Career Medical Officers (CM0’s) / Resident Medical Officers (RM0’s) who have a strong interest in acute surgical and medical care. You will be working closely with our accredited Visiting Medical Officers (VMO’s), across a range of specialities supported by an exceptional clinical nursing team.

St George Private offers successful CMO/RMO candidates’ excellent exposure and opportunities within a first-class healthcare facility. We offer a flexible roster that operates with several varied shifts Monday to Friday and Weekends, consisting of day, evening, and nights.  This role is a great opportunity to use your clinical assessment and diagnostic skills within a supportive, collegial environment.

The successful candidates can be employed by the hospital or work as a contractor.

About You

The successful candidate will be a skilled PGY3+ CMO, they must possess general medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia and have good acute clinical skills and be confident in neonate resus.

They should be proactive, a good communicator, keen to learn and provide education where required and be able to work closely with the medical and clinical staff.   

**Weekday shifts AM &PM and Weekend shifts AM & PM – flexible hours**

Essential Criteria:

• AHPRA Registration
• PGY3+

• Previous experience in a similar role or as a Registrar in a similar role
• Demonstrated high level of clinical competence
• Highly developed verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Suite
• Neonate experience with neopuff
• Neonate cannulation
