The Career Support Officer works collaboratively with the school community to promote and foster the achievement, participation, career development, and employability of all students. 

This role supports the school based Career Development Practitioner (CDP) and delivery of the Career Development program that enables students to make informed choices to navigate their current and future careers. Your key focus will be on building students’ skills and capabilities for the future, through a planned program of learning, to prepare them for their life after school.

As a Career Support Officer with Toowoomba Catholic Schools, you will be joining a network of 32 schools who, with the Toowoomba Catholic Schools Office, form Toowoomba Catholic Schools. Through our shared purpose, enabling full and flourishing lives we support staff and students to reach their potential.  

You will receive regular support from your principal and visiting Education Officers - experts who will help you advance your skills and support you in providing the best possible Career Support services to the college community. You will also be a part of a network and given the opportunity to attend targeted professional development hosted by the Toowoomba Catholic Schools Office.
