Caretaker - Live In

We are currently recruiting a Live In Caretaker to assist our team already based onsite in Red Cliffs, Victoria.

As a Live In Caretaker, you will be focused on cleanliness, facility rules & regulations, behaviour management & general day to day items. You will also need to be involved with maintenance, lawns, and gardening and some of the more manual tasks.
Duties that will be required:
• On a rostered basis with the other Caretaker, conduct nightly walk arounds to lock down common rooms, kitchen, make sure noise is reduced from 10PM and ask all residents outside to move inside. Enforce Rules & Regulations.
• You will be required to be on duty every 2nd weekend on an agreed roster pattern with other caretakers
• Ensure that the grounds, gardens, common areas and facilities are maintained to a high standard and are always well presented
• Assist with daily bin emptying, waste removal, trips to the tip, and general day to day tasks to keep the facility secure & safe
• Various pro-active upkeep tasks such as gyprock repair, painting, minor repair work that doesn’t involve the use of trades
• Driving facility work vehicles, if required

This is a Live-In position that requires a minimum of 38 hrs per week, however, the applicant must be available to work any day of the week on a roster with the other caretaker. Remuneration for this role is $33.00 per hour. Accommodation and utility costs are included.
