Mobility Access Modifications is a company that specializes in modifying homes for the elderly and mobility impaired.  Located in Preston we have over 21 years of experience in servicing Melbourne and surrounds.  

This is an opportunity for a Subcontractor Carpenter to join our team.  You will be working between Bathroom Modifications and Ramps, covering residential homes within the greater Melbourne areas.

INCLUDED: VAN + TOOLS + FUEL + ETAGS

RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Full accessible bathroom renovations
• Construction of access ramps and steps
• Widening doorways, framing walls, sheeting walls

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: 

• Qualified carpenter with a minimum of 5 + years experience post trade school
• Ability to deliver a quality finish to work completed
• Fit off bathrooms experience
• Concreting experience preferred
• Reading plans
• Hold valid VicRoads driving license
• Own car
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Experience delivering excellent customer service 
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects
• A comprehensive understanding of safety procedures
• A good team player
• Have a meticulous and efficient work ethic
• Attention to detail
• Working with Children Check and Police Check to be undertaken
• Ability to use technology, including email; we use various computer systems and apps for our projects
