Are you passionate about Freight Forwarding and a skilled Cartage Coordinator seeking a change? Look no further! Our client is looking to grow their team with an Air and LCL Transport Planner to join their dynamic, national team.
Key Responsibilities:
Cartage Coordination: Handle the preparation, coordination, and follow-up of cartage post-customs clearance for both Air and LCL shipments.
Customer Liaison: Coordinate deliveries with customers, carriers, and delivery points while maintaining and controlling customers' status/delivery reports.
Compliance: Ensure legal compliance by carrying out AQIS formalities, completing appropriate forms, participating in audits, inspections, and processing AQIS/ACS holds or restrictions.
Financial Operations: Organise payment for shipping lines and forwarders' charges, process ACS/AQIS clearance matters, and prepare bill payments while liaising with document couriers.
Efficient Management: Take charge of your workload, ensuring timely preparation, coordination, and follow-up of cartage through customs clearance.
Reporting: Assist in preparing accurate documentation, reporting, and quotations for customers, utilising CargoWise to provide precise job costings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Freight Forwarding operations.
- Proficiency in using CargoWise
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a national team.
