Your new company

• Internationally renowned, and with a strong reputation throughout the Freight Forwarding industry. This market leader is currently looking for a hard working individual that is ready to take the next step in their Freight Forwarding career as a Procurement and Pricing Specialist.

Your new role

• Working within this established management and operations team, your new role will manage a portfolio of high volume accounts.
• Your role will be using new technology created by the company, this will suit someone with a tech savvy mindset.
• Tariff and rate maintenance
• Preparing quotes and proposals for all modes of freight
• Rate negotiating with local suppliers and overseas agents
• Being the link between the business development team and operational team

What you will need to succeed

• 2+ years experience in import & export sea/air freight
• CW1/EDI experience
• Quoting experience
• Friendly, vibrant, approachable personality with energy and drive
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to organize and priorities
• High attention to detail in your work
• Fantastic communication and organizational skills, feel comfortable speaking with customers, suppliers and overseas agents and thrive on working in a busy environment
