Key responsibilities:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of Export Sea freight operations and customer service.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage client and shipment communications
- Compliance with local regulatory requirements
- Thorough management and completion of shipping documentation
- Tracking all shipments, including transhipments
- High level customer service
- Liaising with international agents, suppliers and consignee’s
- Coordinate cartage for all LCL FCL and FAK transport
- Invoicing
- Confirm receipt of and receive original HBL from consignee including packing list, packing declaration, commercial invoice and Dangerous Goods Certificate
- Other duties as required by the Branch Manager
- Export sea freight operations experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- High level communication skills – verbal and written
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Experience in processing and completing all shipping documents
- CargoWise knowledge and experience
