A growing Australian owned International Freight Forwarder seeking a junior Customer Service / Operations Clerk to to join their tight-knit team @ Wetherill Park, NSW Head Office . Training provided, hybrid work environment, growth opportunities.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Coordinate with shippers, consignees, carriers, overseas network, cartage and brokerage teams related to import/export
- Process documents efficiently and promptly ensure they are correct and have been entered into the operations system.
- Distribute pre-alerts and required documents to appropriate parties in timely manner
- Support cartage operations in the movements of inbound & outbound for air & sea shipments (including cross trade shipments)
- Troubleshooting complexities
- Provide exceptional services and ensure customer satisfaction
- Participate in performance meetings with direct manager
- Maintain a positive working environment
- Provide appropriate notice of any leave or unavailability
- Maintain health and safety standards and procedures according to legislation and Company policies.
- Ensure all incidents reported in a timely manner
- Be responsible for the observation of safe working practices at all times
- Assist in the management of hazards and its controls
- Encourage others to act safely
ABOUT YOU:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic Freight Forwarding industry knowledge
- A can-do attitude
- Cargowise1 knowledge (preferred)
