As we continue to expand our services for children and young individuals in need, we are in search of a child-focused and committed Case Manager to join our Intensive Therapeutic Care - Significant Disabilities team in Sydney. In this role you will provide quality case management support for up to 6 Children & Young people residing within our therapeutic care homes in the Inner West and Eastern Suburbs. You will work closely with the Children, Young People and their support network to develop and implement therapeutic case plans that meet their individual needs and goals.

Role requirements:
- Relevant bachelor’s degree, or a relevant diploma and be working towards a degree. (A qualification is desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience and a willingness to undertake further training)
- Previous complex case management experience within an Intensive Therapeutic Care or Out Of Home Care (OOHC) setting
- Experience supporting Children & Young People with disability, who have experienced backgrounds of trauma, abuse and/or neglect.
- Understanding of current casework practices for children and young people
- Understanding of trauma and its effects on children and young people
- Current drivers’ licence
To be considered for and appointed to a position at Life Without Barriers, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a minimum of two (2) doses or hold a valid medical exemption certificate, in accordance with Life Without Barriers Employee COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.
