Who are we…
Guild Insurance is Australia's leading provider of insurance solutions for allied healthcare professionals. For more than 60 years, we've been providing exceptional products and services, and unparalleled customer experiences, driven by a genuine care for our clients' professional and financial wellbeing. With over 140 industry partnerships and 80,000 customers nationally, we are uniquely positioned to offer our customers insurance they can depend on. At the heart of what we do is being there for those our communities rely on.
The Role…
Reporting to the NSW Workers Compensation Claims Team Leader, the Case Manager will be responsible for providing and delivering exceptional service to clients, providing accurate and timely information on Workers Compensation claims processing and administration in compliance with legislation. You will also play a key role in managing claims and injuries efficiently, focusing on enabling a safe and sustainable return to work for injured workers.
In this role, you will be responsible for processing claims and payments, ensuring compliance with scheduled fees and awards. You will also undertake requirements for injury management and review/approve payments accordingly. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in claims management by determining liability on new and continuing claims, issuing notices/correspondence to employers and injured workers, and liaising with stakeholders on return-to-work procedures. You will also organise medical examinations and investigations as needed and refer claimants to rehabilitation services.
Furthermore, you will handle related administrative tasks such as assisting with general queries, supporting regional office activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also participate in Workers' Compensation meetings and forums, as well as attend rehabilitation or medical case conferences when required. Your customer service skills will be vital in providing timely and accurate support to stakeholders and building strong relationships with clients.
Working as part of a large team, you will be fully supported by other team members and Case Managers. Your primary function is to manage all claims in line with our claim's guidelines and service standards and where necessary, escalated to other members of the team where necessary.
About you…
You have experience in a similar claims role within the NSW Workers Compensation industry along with a good knowledge of general insurance claims. You are dedicated to meeting the expectations of your stakeholders and act with the customer in mind - 'client first approach”.
You possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral and have an eye for detail or attention to detail. You are a team player and thrive in a supportive and collaborative team.
Prior experience using Guidewire will be advantageous but not essential, but you will need to be proficient in using the Microsoft suite of programs.
About the Team…
