About the Role:
In April 2022, the NSW Government announced the establishment of temporary housing sites to accommodate the urgent housing needs emerging from the February 2022 storms and floods in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.
NRH was awarded the contract to provide tenancy management and site maintenance across multiple housing sites on behalf of the NSW Government in a number of local government areas in the Northern Rivers. Sites host a variety of housing units to accommodate various household sizes.
The Case Worker's goal is to collaborate within a delivery team, offering comprehensive case management to individuals residing in housing sites. The primary focus of the position is to assist individuals entering the NRH Community Village in moving from temporary accommodation or properties affected by floods to permanent or habitable housing.

About You:
- Hold a Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent Human Services tertiary qualification
- Demonstrated experience in the social housing sector and homelessness, and a positive history of working with vulnerable people
- Demonstrated experience in delivering a responsive service to people with complex needs
- A commitment to person centred practice, commitment to social justice and social inclusion
- Have a current Working with Children Check and a valid National Police Check, or willingness to obtain this
- Possession of an unrestricted NSW driver’s licence.
