One-year fixed term part time role (with view to extend) working 4 days per week
Based in Darlinghurst with flexibility to work across Sydney City (Darlinghurst and Woolloomooloo)

About the role:

This role will be providing the highest possible standard of support and clinical case work to clients within a trauma informed care framework.
The successful candidate will have:
Qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, Counselling, or other relevant fields (Diploma minimum)
Experience in working in case work or counselling role with women, children and young people who have experienced Domestic and Family Violence
Experience in social or community work, counselling, and group facilitation
Extensive experience working in a trauma informed, client centred way
Experience in working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities
Experience in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people/communities
Ability to communicate in Mandarin or Thai is desirable

Excellent communication skills verbally and written
Advanced skills in risk assessment and case work relating to Domestic and Family Violence
Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated but also work collaboratively as part of a wider team
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders, services, agencies, departments, and government and non-government organisations
Actively engages in clinical supervision and line management
Holds a current and valid Working with Children Check/Working with Vulnerable People Registration
Current drivers’ licence required
