Your part in our UnitingCare Community team
You will provide case management and support to clients who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness, to assist them to obtain immediate housing and work towards independent longer-term housing solutions.
What makes a difference for us?
To be successful in this role you will understand homelessness, experience in providing case management to individuals in crisis and be passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable clients.
In addition, you’ll have:
- Tertiary qualification in human services (or relevant field).
- Working with Children Check (under the screening provisions of the Commission for Children and Young People Act 2000). Employment is conditional upon presentation of a current Suitability Card (Blue Card), or a willingness to apply for the same.
- An open Australian driver’s license.
- A criminal history check will be conducted on the recommended person for this position.
- Able to work some weekends.
