Position Summary
We are currently seeking several team players to join our Gold Coast Homelessness Service, as we run several programs from here, your skills will be utilised across all of the different programs that we currently have.

Do you have a passion to work with adults and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness on the Gold Coast? Would you like to be a part of an organisation that is client focussed and strategically connected to the coal face, with a clear commitment to reducing homelessness and opportunities for your professional development?
The applicant will have experience working with people experiencing homelessness, including rough sleepers. They will be competent in identifying and understanding risks posed to children, as well as how to respond to effectively safeguard children. They will be able to work autonomously as well as participate in and contribute to an established team of professionals.
Ideally you have 2 years experience of paid or volunteer work with people experiencing homelessness and a subsequent sound understanding of the contributing factors of homelessness. You must have excellent verbal communication skills that enable you to assess needs accurately and extensively as well as transferable written communication skills to record assessments on the database. You must have a tertiary qualification in human services, community services, Youth Services or related field. A basic level of competence with technology is also required.
