About the role
Join our dynamic team as a Case Worker and be part of a collaborative effort with VACCA staff, Jesuit Social Services professionals, outreach teachers, school liaison officers, healthcare experts, and therapists dedicated to empowering and supporting young individuals facing educational challenges. This exciting role is co-located with the Jesuit Social Services Navigator team in the vibrant community of Brunswick, fostering a collaborative environment as part of our valued partnership agreement. As a Case Worker, you will play a crucial role in conducting assessments, developing educational plans, and providing continuous support to Aboriginal children and families, contributing to positive change and growth in their lives. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate engaging workshops and events by liaising with schools and relevant organizations. Source culturally enriching educational resources, empower parents, and ensure each student has a personalized learning plan. Conduct educational assessments, develop re-engagement plans, and provide insightful reports on student outcomes. Strengthen partnerships with local agencies for optimum results.
