The Great Southern Hotel Sydney (GSH-Sydney) We are currently seeking an experienced Breakfast Cook and Attendant on a casual basis to join our team. You must take pride in your work and be willing to go that "extra mile" to make our guest's stay an enjoyable one. This is a physically demanding role that requires an energetic and enthusiastic person who is ready and willing to work as part of a team.
About the role:
As our Food & Beverage Breakfast Cook and Attendant, your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up the restaurant or In-Room Dining so we're ready to serve our guests every day
- Learning the Breakfast menu
- Providing a warm, friendly, and professional service always to hotel guests and fellow colleagues.
- Opening/closing the restaurant
- Clearing/cleaning tables, and restaurant area
- Cleaning dishes
- Mopping floor
About you:
The successful candidate must:
- Be responsible, reliable, proactive, passionate, and dedicated to the industry
- Be self-motivated, well-presented, and punctual
- Proven ability in compliance with all food authority requirements including safety and hygiene practices is essential
- Be able to work on an early duty schedule
- Be committed to providing extraordinary service
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Be reliable and particular in the job
