Welcome to the Brook Hotel. Open now after an extensive renovation with our state of the art gaming room already up and running. We're a part of the Mitchelton and greater Brisbane community. We are looking for chefs of all levels for a busy venue, whether you have experience on Grill or doing hand stretched pizza or are a gun on pans we want to hear from you. The positions are starting as casual but can be made in to full time for the correct candidate.

This is a brilliant opportunity to become a Commis Chef at the Brook Hotel.
What you'll do:
- Assist the senior chefs in preparing a variety of meals according to menu and orders
- Work efficiently to ensure timely delivery of dishes to guests.
- Comply with safety and health policies, procedures and role responsibilities as defined in the Safety and Health Responsibilities and Accountabilities procedure
- Setup and cleaning of kitchen
What you'll need:
- Experience working in a hands-on, team focused bistro style kitchen
- Knowledge of cooking practices as they apply to the relevant venue's menu
- An uncompromising attitude towards high food quality, presentation and safety
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Trade cooking qualifications are essential
