Aspiring Minds Child Psychology Clinic is a health care practice based in Neutral Bay and we are recruiting for the role of Casual Receptionist / Administrative Assistant. Our practice provides evidence based psychological assessments and treatments to the community, with a focus on supporting children, adolescents, and young adults and their families.
Your key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Managing clinician’s consulting days including welcoming clients at reception, responding to phone/email enquiries, organising billing, and appointment scheduling.
- Providing brief descriptions of services we provide, accurate quotes for the services, advise billing policy and out of pocket fees.
- Reconciling payments, manage billing and chase outstanding accounts.
- Overseeing all duties related to the daily operation and administrative procedures of the practice, including administrative support for the Director and clinicians (e.g., document handling), and ensuring the practice is clean, orderly, and well stocked with the essential supplies.
- Assisting in facilitating marketing strategies and campaigns (e.g., networking with GPs, other health professionals and their staff).
Previous experience working in a health care practice and/or in administrative roles will be an advantage. Training for the role is provided. This position is ideal for psychology students seeking exposure to work experience in a psychological practice, and/or those with experience in similar roles who are seeking casual work for 1 or 2 days per week.
Applicants must have demonstrated computer literacy in Microsoft Suite, Google drive and EFTPOS machines. PowerDiary experience is preferred, but not essential. Applicants must have unconditional eligibility to work in Australia (permanent resident or citizen).
Hours include shifts on Monday - Friday within business hours (8.30am – 4.30pm). Role currently offered is for 1 or 2 full-day shifts per week.
