Category Analyst supports with developing and embedding of category thinking, insights and strategy across CUB and with our Trade Partners. You will Identify growth opportunities and partner with relevant internal functions and external customers to deliver upon these opportunities and play a key role in being an indispensable trade partner.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver category insights that help support customer category engagement plans and key category customer sessions
- Support Category Managers with innovation project deliverables including category stories & ranging recommendations
- Support the Senior Manager Category - Off Premise with key stakeholders to deliver & communicate a bi-annual update of our “Must Stock Lines” (MSL) programme
- Lead the monthly data and category insights aggregation process across our external scan data sources (Circana, Quantium & Summit Insights)
About you- Data segmentation & analysis experience in a similar analyst role with a retailer, agency or in a data related field
- FMCG or Liquor experience with major accounts (Woolworths/Endeavour, Coles, ALM/IBA, LMG) highly regarded
- Strong data analytic acumen & accuracy
- Highly proficient in excel (Power BI and Tableau highly regarded)
- Presentation skills - excellent verbal and visual communication
- Shopper analysis experience with Quantium or Summit highly regarded
