As the Category Analyst, you will provide robust category spend and supply market analysis and analytical insights, which will support best practice procurement and commercial negotiations conducted by the procurement team.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct and assist the team with category spend, supply market and data analysis
- Develop Cost profiles and identify market trends, cost analysis and modelling and communicate findings
- Prepare reports and provide qualitative and quantitative information for review and use to the procurement team
- Management and development of the spend analysis platforms and dashboards
- Support the creation of the Category management Plan in conjunction with both internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience within a Procurement of Category Analyst role (within a public sector environment would be advantageous)
- Ability to use e-Procurement tools, PowerBI or other business intelligence tools
- Demonstrate excellent consultation and analytic skills
