Role summary
The Category Management Associate is responsible for supporting, developing, and delivering point of sale & market analysis monthly, as well as quarterly reports & reviews to support internal & strategic customer planning.
This role will be accountable to support the Category Manager to help deliver consistent reporting for internal & external reviews. The associate will also support key customer ranging and event planning programs in line with aligned brand priorities.

What are your key responsibilities:
- Key channel & customer point of sale and market share reporting
- Develop and manage an effective data report calendar with the support of the category manager
- Create key event & promotional reviews to deliver improved category outcomes
- Implement ongoing planning structures to develop best in class & regular insightful reporting, to assist in successful brand and customer insights
- Support team with sales & marketing range reviews & program proposals for market analysis
- Effectively understand brand and customer priorities and utilise planning processes to drive strategic alignments
- Work cohesively with marketing and sales teams to deliver on brand strategies.
What you need to be successful:
- Minimum 2-3 years in similar role – Degree qualified preferred but not essential
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Experience in grocery, general merchandise and/or FMCG retail
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Advanced data & category analysis experience
- Experience in customer & range review management support
- Self-motivated team player
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Knowledge of IRI/Circana, Neilson IQ and/or Quantium is advantageous.
