We have partnered with a fast growing, innovative Australian dairy business that has posted excellent results over the past few years. They are dedicated to producing healthy, nutritious products through multiple domestic and international channels. This business have a philosophy around constant innovation and a strong focus on quality of product and as such have seen them go through constant growth.
The Role
- Support all end-to-end category management of defined categories from sourcing through to contract management.
- Managing each categories financial performance with an eye for identifying any cost saving opportunities, as well as delivering on this.
- Proactive with providing any recommendations on short/long term supplier strategies.
- Assist in the design and implementation of sourcing strategies to identify new opportunities to improve supplier base and, in doing so, reduce potential risk.
- You will deliver sustained value and competitive advantage to the business by managing closely key supplier relationships and negotiating smartly to achieve cost reductions and optimal category performance.
- Experience working in a complex procurement function.
- Open to a range of backgrounds but candidates will have minimum of 5 years experience managing a food and/or packaging category within a food organisation.
- You will have the ability to work across all functions within the organisation, communicate at all levels and negotiate improved total value outcomes.
- Degree qualified, you will be naturally influential and enjoy a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
- With demonstrated superior supplier management skills, you will effortlessly engage internal and external stakeholders, bringing them on a journey of change and continuous improvement.
