Full-time, ongoing (term time only)As the Catering Manager, you will play an important role and take responsibility for the delivery and management of the school's food services operation.Reporting to the Director of Business Operations, you will provide leadership and direction to the Catering Department and provide support with operational processes, budget, food safety, staff management, ordering and day to day running of the department.Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrated experience as a Catering Manager or similar role as an accomplished leader with a stellar culinary track record
- Demonstrated understanding of the requirements of a kitchen environment
- Previous experience as a chef
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate and Food Handler Certificate
- Experience in leading, mentoring and developing teams
- Experience working in a kitchen setting and catering for large groups
- Good understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate including HACCP (desirable)
- Demonstrated understanding of food hygiene standards and the ability to manage issues relating to food intolerances
- Hold a current First Aid (HTLAID 009 and HLTAID 011) and asthma certificate
- Completion of the College anaphylaxis qualification
- A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC), or ability to obtain
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
