Millbrook Rise Centre is looking to employ a Catering Services Officer to join the team. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients, located within the beautiful Derwent Valley municipality.
As a Catering Services Officer you will be expected to perform the following:
- Ensure a high standard of food preparation and presentation for patient and staff meals along with special dietary requirements for both food and refreshments where required.
- Distribute meals to individual units in accordance with relevant policies.
- Ensure adherence to food hygiene regulations throughout the kitchen and maintain regular cleaning checks, which are to be documented.
- Clean and sanitise all kitchen equipment and relevant areas as directed by relevant supervisor, and in accordance with relevant guidelines.
- Carry out duties safely and in accordance with Work Health and Safety requirements and food handling and hygiene regulations. 8. Undertake all training required to work in Mental Health Inpatient setting.

- Millbrook Rise Centre is a 27-bed facility that is a consumer-focused service with a focus on rehabilitation and recovery located in the beautiful Derwent Valley.
- New Norfolk is a picturesque 35-minute drive up the river Derwent from Hobart with free parking on site. The Derwent Valley is the gateway to some of Tasmania's sought after experiences such as wineries, beautiful waterfalls, ski fields and the popular Maydena Mountain Bike Park.

Details of Appointment
Fixed term casual, shift-worker position working when required, commencing as soon as possible until 18 March 2025.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary: $60,666 - $63,222 per annum (pro-rata). Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
