Administrative Support Officer - Patient Safety (523193)

The role:
This position contributes to the successful positioning of the Patient Safety Service to provide high quality, accountable and measurable healthcare, both internally and externally, by:

• Providing a range of customer-focused support and information services related to the Patient Safety Service. • Providing high level Administrative Support to the Stream Manager and staff assigned to the Patient Safety Service in relation to the role’s duties.

Details of Appointment

Fixed term, part time, day worker position working 45.6 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible until 16 November 2024.

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

• Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

Salary: $71,661 to $77,45 pro rata, per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

• Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Eligibility:

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

1. Current Driver’s Licence
2. Certificate III or IV in business administration or similar

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

2. sex related offences
3. serious drug offences
4. crimes involving dishonesty
5. serious traffic offences
