Requisition ID: REQ501193An Eligibility List (E-List) or talent pool may be created from this recruitment episode to assist in filling future permanent, temporary, or casual full-time and part-time positions.Pregnancy Family Conferencing (PFC) is an exciting new program which provides early intervention and supports pregnant women and families, to safely and successfully start their parenting journey. PFC forms part of the NSW Government's Brighter Beginnings Initiative.The Clinical Lead- Pregnancy Family Conferencing is responsible for the overall leadership and coordination of PFC. This role works in partnership with DCJ and other key partners, to facilitate a strengths- based, early intervention approach to supporting pregnant women and families where there are concerns about the safety and wellbeing of an unborn child.The Clinical Lead- PFC engages, educates, and supervises the network of PFC facilitators and actively contributes to the broader leadership team in Violence, Abuse & Neglect.About You

  • You will have a Degree in Social Work from an accredited course, eligibility for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and a demonstrated understanding of the AASW Practice Standards as they relate to the position.
  • You have experience in providing culturally safe clinical care and engagement with Aboriginal Families and stakeholders.
  • You will bring leadership skills, including experience in capacity building and clinical supervision.
  • You will bring your experience and education as a Social Worker and skills in building positive relationships and collaborating with interagency partners to meet the needs of complex and vulnerable families.
