Duties and Responsibilities (based on role):
- Assist the Head Chef oversee daily operations and standards of the kitchen;
- Organise and plan the preparation and cooking of food;
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to enhance the guest experience and maintain high customer satisfaction;
- Ownership and execution of BOH processes;
- Develop and execute training program to ensure high standards;
- Uphold health and safety regulations and ensure staff compliance with hygiene standards and food handling practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new culinary concepts, and competitors' offerings to ensure the restaurant remains competitive and innovative
Qualifications and Skills;
- Proven experience in a similar or higher role within the restaurant industry;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with staff, guests, and suppliers;
- Basic understanding of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, cost control, and inventory management;
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and ability to enforce compliance;
- Passion for the culinary arts and an interest in staying updated with industry trends;
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
