With a portfolio that spans across Australia, they are now seeking a seasoned and dynamic Property Manager to oversee their newly renovated shopping complex in Cairns.
Your new role
As the Center Property Manager, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of property and leases, as well as the daily operations. Your hands-on approach will guarantee the proficient management of a medium-sized portfolio. Your role is crucial in upholding the property’s high standards and guaranteeing that both tenants and visitors have an exceptional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of lease management, including renewals, negotiations, assignments, and extensions.
- Proactively lease vacant spaces to suitable tenants.
- Anticipate lease expirations and strategise to secure replacement tenants in a timely manner.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all lease agreements and pertinent legislation.
- Enforce lease obligations and manage tenant compliance.
- Coordinate and approve all new tenant fit-outs.
- Uphold the highest standards of maintenance, cleanliness, and repair for the property, including buildings, plants, parking, and landscaping.
- Comply with Occupational Safety and Health regulations.
- Supervise and evaluate all contractors working on the property.
- Approve and verify that only qualified tradespeople carry out authorised work.
- Implement and oversee all security protocols for the center.
We are on the lookout for a grounded Centre Property Manager who must possess a valid real estate licence. The ideal candidate will have a background in Property Management and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail. A strong drive and a passion for fostering robust relationships with tenants are essential. You should be resilient, skilled at multitasking, and have a proven track record of collaborating effectively with a team to achieve objectives.
