The trustee for The Mr. Travel Unit Trust trading as Sailing Whitsundays are currently recruiting a qualified Office Manager. The position is based in Cairns, QLD however, we will require you to occasionally travel around Queensland to meet with partners in key locations (e.g. Whitsundays, K'gari Island)

- Sailing-Whitsundays - Focused on the sale of tours in the Whitsundays.
- Fraser-Tours - Focused on the sale of tours on K'gari Island.
- Cairns-Tours - Focused on the sale of tours of the Great Barrier Reef and Far North Queensland.
- East Coast Tours - Specialises in personalised package tours on the East Coast of Australia.
- AQF Diploma in business/management or leadership plus minimum 12 months of experience.
- Must speak fluent English.
- Basic understanding of HTML
- Excellent East Coast knowledge - must include Cairns, Whitsundays, and K'gari Island.
- Experience in International Business Development.
- Experience using Hero Travel, Fair Harbour and Rezdy.
- Sound understanding of SEO, SEM, SMM and the Google Suite.
- Great attention-to-detail and a dedication to delivering top-notch results.
- Enjoy a challenge, be extremely goal-driven, and be able to work well under pressure.
- Prior experience in managing complex commercial arrangements with service providers.
- Experience in insurance/legal/procurement tasks and projects.
- Experience managing a wide range of external & internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with Managing Director.
- Collaborating with colleagues to address matters concerning the organisation's operations.
- Conducting research and creating various documents such as reports, briefing notes, memoranda, and routine correspondence.
- Ensuring the security and confidentiality of files and sensitive documents.
- Participating in meetings and providing secretarial support when necessary.
- Managing appointment schedules and organizing travel arrangements.
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail, as well as maintaining organized records.
- Screening phone calls and promptly addressing inquiries.
- Receiving and accurately transcribing dictations of letters and other important documentation.
- Supervise other secretarial/clerical staff & monitors accounts - when/if necessary.
- Liaise with staff members/organizations relating to the business's operations.
