The Centre
This brand new 85 placed centre is located the Reservoir area. This high quality centre has a real focus on listening to the children's voices and adapting the learning environment to suit this. They have a very supportive established team in place who are dedicated to providing a fantastic learning environment for the children. The centre is purpose built and has excellent resources and facilities, lots of natural light.
The Opportunity
This is a highly attractive full time permanent role at a privately-owned centre. You'll have high levels of autonomy in your role and will be responsible for maintaining a positive and collaborative culture in the centre with a team of long standing and enthusiastic educators who are willing to learn. Working in collaboration with the owner, you'll have the opportunity to implement your strong curriculum knowledge and pedagogy to inspire and engage children and educators alike. The Candidate
You must have a minimum of 2 years experience as Centre Director with further experience in both the assessment and rating process and developing a QIP. You'll have strong leadership abilities and present with excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively promote the service within the local community.
The ideal Director for this position will hold;
- Either a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA Assessed equivalent
- First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification
- Working with children check
