SH Recruitment is working exclusively with one of Australia’s leading childcare organisations, who require an experienced, progressive and forward-thinking Centre Director for its high-performing service.

- This role would suit a Centre Director who has ran a small to medium size service or an experienced 2IC / Assistant Director who has held that role for 3-5 years wanting to take the next step in their careers.
This position is:
- A 38-hour, full-time working week.
- Would suit an up-and-coming 2IC with at least 3 years of experience running a smaller service but wanting to take the next step in their careers.

The centre itself has a low turnover of staff, a healthy and engaging working environment where wellbeing, fun, support, and mentoring is encouraged.
Interviews will be taking place throughout February and March 2024, with a start date ASAP.
Suitable applicants must have:
- Diploma early childhood qualification
- Level 2 First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification
- WWCC and or Victorian Institute of Teaching card.
- Right to work in Australia
- A minimum of 1-2 years Centre Director experience
You will also be required to:
- Report directly to your Area Manager and attend regular monthly meetings.
Essential skills and competencies
- Experience and knowledge of early childhood development and education.
- Effective time management skills
- An ability to communicate effectively with the Senior Management, parents, other staff and professionals.
- Ability to work in a cooperative, flexible, and professional manner with children, parents, staff and Senior Management.
- Strong leadership and self-motivation skills
